The food here was without a doubt amazing. My steak was perfectly tender and melted in my mouth. We came for a friend's birthday and they made us custom menus as per requested in the reservation, such a nice touch! The vibes and ambiance were immaculate with live music playing. It felt like our server was not too happy to have such a big table to serve. He was very short with his responses and it felt rather rude. Other than that they did treat us to two complementary bread puddings for the table to share.

As always Mastros comes out swinging every time. That bone in rib eye and lobster Mac are a must! First time coming to their Beverly Hills location, customer service is exceptional. Can't wait for another celebration to come back, well worth the money!

I have been many times to meet friends, clients, potential clients, investors, private equity head executives, and fund managers for drinks right here. It's where they love to go. It's highly obvious why that is: They will custom make any drink you want, they are more than happy to tell you everything about a cocktail, including how it's made, which alcohols are able to be swapped within a drink to give it a taste you have described to them you wanted. Top shelf alcohol means no hangover. Like the difference between a single and double malt scotch or drinking Jose Cuervo instead of colorless Patron Silver, like the difference between dark and clear alcohols. It makes or it breaks you. One has you over the toilet praying to G-D only knows or to G-d herself, making bargains in your own head with ...nobody knows who. Wishing you hadn't gone out, saying, promising you'll never drink again and this hangover makes you wish you were having a hangover more like the ones in the "Hangover" movies. You rather have been ruffled. Or that someone poured a tad of GHB in your drink without you knowing it. I know that I'm basically describing your College experience, and mine, but they don't serve Jack Daniel's or Maker's Mark, no Jack, Jim, Mark nor Jose. Go out for drinks here and you will feel happy, healthy, may or maybe not wealthy, but definitely wise. No losing two or three days to Trans Fat and milkshakes, or Matzo Ball soup, but like you'll go for a short 20k jog (jk), but perhaps...

Well, Mastro's dinner never goes wrong. We like this place in every location Never was disappointed Service, food ambiance They nailed it

Our server, Lamont, who shared he was also training to be a manager was amazing. He made sure we were taken care of all night. My hubby and I were celebrating our anniversary and several staff stopped by to give their well wishes. My petite filet was cooked to perfection, the garlic mashed potatoes were delicious, Brussels sprouts served up with the perfect amount of bacon, Chilean Sea Bass was light and delicious, and the butter cake was a wonderful take home treat, compliments of Lamont. We enjoyed the live singing and festive yet romantic atmosphere. We will definitely return. Can't want to see Lamont as a manager as he will be able to lead by example.

Last visit Nov '24 -- Frequent diner and I feel like it's 5 stars for consistency! Every single time I've dropped in the food, service, and ambiance is the same. While Mastro's may not be considered the best of the best, I've never had to send anything back nor has service ever fallen short. Frequent orders: petite filet, lobster bisque, broccolini, gnocchi, branzino, garlic mashed potatoes, and a MUST: the butter cake.

I come here every year to celebrate my anniversary (except for one year during COVID), and to this day, it's still my favorite steakhouse. Everything--from the bread to the steaks to the sides--is consistently delicious. The service is always exceptional, and they truly know how to make your day special. This past anniversary, our waitress surprised us with a dessert platter--a really sweet gesture, even though it was a bit much for just two people. But moments like this are exactly why we keep coming back and recommending this place to all our friends. I can't imagine celebrating anywhere else and will probably be coming here for decades to come!

My friend and I recently dined at the Penthouse at Mastro's in Beverly Hills and had a mostly enjoyable experience, though there were a few downsides that keep this review at four stars. The food was delicious-- 22 oz. Ribeye, Tuna Tartare and Chilean sea-bass were outstanding, and the Warm Butter Cake with ice cream was as exceptional as ever. Drinks were also on point; both the Pomegranate and Dirty martinis were excellent. However, the asparagus side was a bit underwhelming. The main issue, unfortunately, was with our server, Runzer. We arrived around 9:50 pm (we had a reservation booked for a few weeks) due to my flight landing late, and it felt like we were an inconvenience for him as his last table of the night. His demeanor was blunt and unpleasant, almost as if he didn't feel like serving us, which soured an otherwise solid dining experience. The penthouse is located on the 3rd floor of the building, accessible by elevator. The dining room is medium-sized, with an upscale, intimate ambiance. Overall, while the food and atmosphere were great, I've had better service--particularly at their Washington, D.C. location, where the service was impeccable.
